TIME UP

Time Up:

1 Corinthians 10:11 says;

"All these things happened to them as examples for others, and they were written down as a warning for us. For we live at a time when the end is about to come".

Let me begin by saying this generation of Christian had lost our life jackets, and we still sit comfortable aboard on the canoe of life. It is paradoxical to feel safe without safety equipment enroute a voyage where calamity is inevitable. The words and acts written by the inspiration from GOD in the holy scripture for us has been neglected and treated with disdained. This generation read and copy their pastors and G.Os in place of their bible.

The reality remains that CHRIST died for us , no man can take HIS place in the work of salvation perfected for all. Christianity is not a secret cult where one can be denied the privilege to GOD'S word and Holy Spirit that interprets it contexts to contents. Seeing the level of gullibility of our fellow christian saddened my heart. It's like we have lost our spiritual and common senses. Our people have lost their grab on GOD while holding firmly their pastor's and G.O's satirical selfish ideology.

Where and how in the Holy Bible can we establish most of this present day practices of Christianity? It sounds rhetorical but it is not. Our LORD JESUS taught the disciples that he who wants to lead must be ready to serve this he exemplified by washing their feets (Then he poured some water into a washbasin and began to wash the disciples' feet and dry them with the towel around his waist.John 13:5 GNT). It was difficult to identify our savior unless by paying a traitor (Judas) who sold our LORD JESUS out by a kiss for coins of shilling.

My argument is that there was no bossy attention amidst our LORD JESUS and the disciples. I mean there was nothing spetacular that differentiate our LORD from HIS friends. I wonder what our LORD JESUS would say to the segregation by class, race, tribe, and many more in the present day church. Our LORD JESUS was worried about the welfare of the multitude that was with Him for days such that He fed them miraculously(5000 and 3000 peoples at different occasions without demanding anything from them ). I wonder how a church leader would be comfortable to live in mansions built by the money coming from mostly members that can't afford their own house rent. This is nothing but anti-Christ.

To those who are expecting a seven headed anti-Christ don't be decieved we have them amongst us now. Only that we are too blind to see or too busy to notice. I have been seeing some post of recent from high tension anointed men of GOD posting money (mostly foreign currencies) with provocative prayer points like; "May you be blessed with the wealth of gentiles".... and so on. This is usually followed by millions of Amen. I am not against prosperity of the people, but I am afraid money itself is not the content of wealth.

Isrealites worked as a slave in Egypt for more than 430 years without anything in return, that's what qualified them to received the wealth of the gentiles. And other nations where they were held captive because of their sins they served unpaid. Our preachers now quotes this bible passages encouraging people to be expecting blessing without work. "It is work before blessing". Anything contrary is unbiblical (“The Lord your God will bless your work and fill your barns with grain. He will bless you in the land that he is giving you".

Deuteronomy 28:8 GNT. Let's stop encouraging demonic practice of magic of reaping where one do not sow.

Conclusively, our LORD JESUS lived a relatively impactful low key life such that HE did not buy a donkey to ride upon when HE needed one for the triumphant entry into Jerusalem precluded HIS crucifixion. HE rented it and sent it back(As Jesus and his disciples approached Jerusalem, they came to Bethphage at the Mount of Olives. There Jesus sent two of the disciples on ahead with these instructions: “Go to the village there ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied up with her colt beside her. Untie them and bring them to me. And if anyone says anything, tell him, ‘The Master needs them’; and then he will let them go at once.” they brought the donkey and the colt, threw their cloaks over them, and Jesus got on.Matthew 21:1-3, 7 GNT). A spiritual leader is a servant, and not a slave master that grows fat at the expense of his members.

"If all these are written about them to be a warning for us". Why do we still fall by wrong and unbiblical practices?
